We just wrapped up five weeks of training in beautiful Miami, which offered up its usual epic conditions! Our Argentian friends joined us for two weeks to tune-up before we headed overseas. After a recent surgery, Maggie has now passed three months post-op and is crushing recovery.

Back at it and focusing on the process of rebuilding the team and ourselves for this new campaign. Taking our strengths with us and finding ways to improve on our weaknesses on and off the water.

Nice to have our Games boat back after a long stretch apart, and seeing those stickers is always a great reminder of what we are working towards. Having "USA" and those rings on your hull is a pretty special privilege.

Supercoach, Giulia Conti, was back in Miami with us! As always, we feel so lucky to have the gang back together again. For those who don't know, she's sailed at the Olympic Games FOUR TIMES for Italy and is both a World and European Champion. Most recently, Giulia completed her degree in Sports Science for the Universita San Raffaele.

Some truly authentic behind-the-scenes content right here... This is what a massive portion of what a modern Olympic campaign looks like! If you are going to campaign competitively, you are signing up to run a fairly complex international sports nonprofit. Planning sessions (even by zoom!) are just as important as training or racing.

BLACK SAILS in Palma. 🤯. After years of racing skiffs with blue/clear mains and jibs, these new North 3Di 49erFX class sails, and new CST rig, are going to take some getting used to.

If you can't have fun out there, you're probably not going to win. So we practice fun as well .

Every last bit of resources we receive goes towards improving our performance on and off the water. It also helps us get one step closer to our goal of bringing home a Gold Medal for Team USA. We are hugely grateful for the massive team of generous supporters behind us.
